Marketing Associate (Redwood City)

Ohana Real Estate Investors is seeking a Marketing Associate who is passionate about creating exceptional marketing and brand interactions as well as achieving results, with an eye for detail and a strong work ethic. This person will focus on the marketing needs of our residential brokerage, Ohana Realty, supporting the ongoing objective of selling world-class real estate at our luxury properties.

The marketing team within Ohana Realty is a small and collaborative team that constantly seeks to create value for the evolving needs of the organization, and as such is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented person whose strong marketing background demonstrates success in developing, maintaining, and optimizing marketing campaigns across both print and digital channels.

This position is located in our Redwood City, CA office and will report to the Marketing Manager.

What you will do

  • Own campaign execution and drive day-to-day operations in our email marketing systems and managing operations for multiple campaigns at one time.

  • Write copy and organize assets for multiple marketing initiatives, such as collateral, websites, email marketing, direct mail and more.

  • Support the creation of new and existing print collateral to provide marketing tools to help drive leads through the sales process.

  • Manage ongoing updates to website properties, including creating new content pages to ensure all websites are up to date and accurate representations of each property/brand.

  • Partner with Marketing Coordinator to develop and execute social media strategy and content.

  • Monitor all marketing data sources (including but not limited to Google Analytics, FB Ads, Google Ads, Mailchimp, Sprout Social) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement and engagement.

  • Assist in the creation and ongoing maintenance of digital ads as it relates to overall digital strategy.

  • Perform constant market/competitor research to stay abreast of industry trends and data.

  • Brainstorm creative content strategies and projects, across different channels and forms of media based on data/analytics as it relates to overall content strategy.

  • Collaborate with external partners as needed, including: creative agency, graphic design/copywriting freelancers, and photographers.

What you will bring to the team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, English, Communications or related field 3 to 5 years of relevant marketing experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; superior copywriting skills preferred.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Self-starter, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

  • An eye for design and what is “on brand”.

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, move projects forward independently, and communicate internally across many stakeholders.

  • Excellent relationship building skills, and a proven track record of collaborating effectively and with positivity.

  • Ability and excitement to travel periodically to luxury resort destinations, both in the U.S. and abroad.

And for extra credit, you’ll also have

  • Experience working with CMS tools (Wordpress) and email marketing systems (Mailchimp).

  • Experience working with Google Analytics to analyze site behavior.

  • Experience with social media software (SproutSocial) and coinciding data reporting.
