Alex Hill

President, Design and Construction

Alex oversees Ohana’s development in relation to all projects, including Maravilla Los Cabos, Montage Los Cabos, and Montage Healdsburg. As The Executive Vice President of Development, Alex oversaw Ohana’s $30mm renovation of Bacara Resort and Spa, which was acquired in 2011 and sold in 2013. Additionally, he oversaw the development of Montage Laguna Beach, Montage Beverly Hills, and Montage Deer Valley. Prior to joining Ohana, Alex was the Executive Vice President of Hospitality for Tynan Group, Inc., a nationally recognized full-service development management group that completed over $2 billion in residential and hotel development projects. Alex has also held positions with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and ITT Sheraton. Alex graduated with Bachelor’s degrees in both Hotel Restaurant & Institutional Management and Food System Economics Management from Michigan State University.

Beth Albano

Design Manager, Design and Construction

Beth coordinates all design-related projects for Ohana and acts as a liaison with design and architecture consultants. She also bridges the gaps between design, construction, sales, and marketing. Her main focus is managing all FFE design, from initial contact through installation. Prior to working at Ohana, Beth worked at a hospitality design firm for over six years, based in San Francisco but traveling all over the world. She also worked as a representative for an architectural firm. Beth holds a degree in Interior Architecture from Arizona State University.

Charles Corwin

Vice President, Design and Construction

Charles Corwin oversees and directs all facets of the planning and design for Ohana’s expansion in resort, hotel and residential developments. With over 30 years of experience in worldwide hospitality property design and development, his responsibilities facilitate the construction of each new property. Prior to joining Ohana, Charles worked as an architect and Managing Principal at WATG before moving on to focus on the development side. Charles holds a degree in Architecture from the University of Idaho.

Eric Crispin

Vice President, Design and Construction

Eric oversees Ohana’s office in Honolulu. He is a licensed architect both in Hawaii and Brazil, and since 2001 has served as Honorary Consul for Brazil in Hawaii. He also previously served as Planning Director for the City & County of Honolulu and as Vice President of Acquisitions and Development for Starwood Hotels. Eric holds a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning form Sao Paulo Brazil.

Shawn Hoctor

Sr. Director of Finance, Design and Construction

Shawn is a key link between the accounting, development, and asset management functions at Ohana as well as between Ohana and project accounting teams. Shawn focuses on enhancements to operational and development reporting. He brings a wealth of accounting experience and knowledge pertaining to the luxury hospitality industry, coming to Ohana most recently from Irvine Company where he oversaw the accounting operations for their resort portfolio. Prior to that, Shawn was an integral member of Montage Hotels & Resorts for over eight years where he worked in accounting overseeing the corporate books as well as the opening of the company’s first three hotels. Shawn graduated with a degree in accounting from California State University, Long Beach.

Tom Manok

Vice President, Design and Construction

As a Vice President at Ohana, Tom oversees multiple development and construction projects at a time. Tom provides coordination, support, direction, and advice to the construction team regarding design and construction issues. Since joining Ohana, Tom has served as the Interim Construction Coordinator for the Vista Serena project, has overseen the exterior skin installation and residential construction for the Montage Deer Valley, and oversaw multiple facets of the renovation of Bacara Resort and Spa. Prior to joining Ohana, Tom gained extensive experience in architecture, construction management, general contracting, and owner’s representation skills by working on hospitality & resort projects as well as restaurants, night clubs, casinos, and concert venues as a Managing Partner in his own architectural firm.

Nathan Tucker

Project Manager, Design & Construction

As a Project Manager for Ohana, Nathan champions the transition of projects from the estimating phase to the field. He participates in activities to support Ohana’s strategic planning efforts and assists in developing, facilitating, and administering long and short-range construction programs. Additionally, he provides design input and recommendations regarding construction issues. Nathan also serves as a technical advisor in the formulation of policies, plans, and procedures. Prior to working at Ohana, Nathan held different project manager roles in Park City, Utah, at the Waldorf as well as the Montage Deer Valley.
