People Operations Manager
Sheila is responsible for strategically managing the HR and People Functions at Ohana while operating at all levels of the business. Her areas of expertise and ownership include talent acquisition and management, employee engagement and culture, benefits, professional development, future capabilities planning, business strategy alignment, HR administration, HR information systems, policy development, and community building. To ensure the human and physical needs of the organization are met, Sheila develops resourceful strategies geared towards day to day execution as well as forward thinking business objectives. Her background includes providing full executive level support to Ohana’s President, and prior to that, held a similar role at Deep Fork Capital, a San Francisco based digital media focused venture capital firm. Sheila holds a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and a Minor in Business Administration from San Jose State University.
